Pietro is a 22-year-old Italian college wrestler who loves the intensity of competition — the strength, sweat, and physical challenge of going body-to-body with another athlete on the mat. But after one particularly heated match with a handsome opponent, wrestling suddenly feels very different.

The close contact awakens something Pietro wasn't expecting. His body reacts before his mind has time to understand why, leaving him noticeably excited and wondering if winning the match was really the only thing that had his heart racing.

Afterward, Pietro sits alone on the mat with his singlet still clinging to his muscular body, cooling down with a bottle of water while his thoughts remain firmly on the guy he just wrestled. For the first time, Pietro allows himself to wonder whether his attraction to men has been there all along.
